Bring your little bundle with you! There is an option in this class to practice with, or alongside your baby. Strengthen your body and realign your muscles. This class ends with an optional guided baby massage by Mom or Dad. Best suited for babies who are not yet crawling/ moving too quickly.
Saturday, October 28th from 10:30-12:30 with Kim Robertson - $25 plus HST
Join Kim Robertson for a two hour workshop covering the basics of a Vinyasa Flow class. Workshop commonly taught postures, discuss the typical timeline of a class, and make time to chat about the things we never get to ask...but are always on our minds. Bring questions, a sense of humour, and an open mind.
Saturday, November 4th from 1-4 pm with Sara Kelly and Tori Jarvis Grant - $90 plus HST
Join local jewelry designer, Sara Kelly in this three hour workshop using beautiful, high quality gemstones and crystals to make your very own Mala. OTM's Tori Jarvis Grant will start the workshop with a 45 minute intention based slow flow designed to encourage connection to self. Sara will then lead participants through the history and meaning of the gems, and teach students how to incorporate them in to their daily lives. Connect to what inspires you and build a Mala that reflects a beautifully authentic you.

Join SuryaChandra for an enchanting yogic journey that explores the healing power of conscious movement, breath and sacred sound. You will be gently guided to the heart of your inner sanctuary accompanied by mantra chanting, yogic postures, earth-based wisdom and meditation. Stay on after your yoga practice for a blissful and ancient ecstatic hour of call-and-response chanting. Accompanied by a rich musical soundscape of harp, guitar, dilruba, harmonium, mandola, bass, drums and other beautiful instruments, we will chant Sanskrit mantras, inviting them to penetrate deeply into our hearts. Come and chant. Leave with a greater feeling of ease, joy, and aliveness.
SuryaChandra (the Sun and the Moon) is a spiritual music ensemble that explores the healing power of sound through devotional chants. The members have been leading Kirtan (call-and-response mantra chanting), a beautiful way of connecting with the Universal, for between 15 and 30 years. They also offer Hatha Yoga and Sound Healing workshops accompanied by live music. The group is based in Nova Scotia and has been touring in various parts of North America and in Asia since 2012. The Yin Series with Michelle Marshall - 1 workshop for $30, or all 3 for $75 plus HST - See Dates Below
This 3 part workshop series is designed to explore the most common yin yoga poses used to target specific areas of the body. In this interactive workshop you will explore the anatomy, and the movements of the targeted areas. Learn why some poses work better in your body than others, what you should be feeling, and where in the body you should and should not be feeling it. This workshop is designed for those looking to deepen their existing yin practice, or for those who are looking to round out their vinyasa practice. This series will leave you with a much clearer understanding and appreciation for all things Yin.
